Your data, kept simple

abouthealthclubs.co.uk is an independent UK website. The data controller is About Health Clubs, contactable at hello@abouthealthclubs.co.uk.

• Contact form: your name, email address and message, used only to reply to you. Kept for 12 months, then deleted.
• Newsletter: your email address, if you subscribe. You can unsubscribe from any email.
• Analytics: anonymised page views, device type and approximate location, used to understand which guides are useful.
• Affiliate tracking: when you click an affiliate link, the retailer sets a cookie to attribute a sale. We do not receive your personal details from them.

We use essential cookies to make the site work, analytics cookies to measure use, and third-party cookies set by affiliate networks and advertisers when you interact with their links or adverts. You can control non-essential cookies through the banner shown on your first visit and through your browser settings.

We process contact and newsletter data with your consent. We process analytics data under legitimate interests, in a form that does not identify you.

You can ask for a copy of the data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Email us and we will respond within one month. If you are unhappy with our response you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.

We use hosting, email and analytics providers who process data on our behalf under contract. We never sell personal data.
